Jan 2018 WISSUG meeting

Loading a Dimension Table using SSIS

Presented by: Manuel Quintana (Pragmaticworks.com)

In this session, we will dive into SSIS and look at the different design options that are available for maintaining dimensions in a traditional data warehouse.

Manuel Quintana (Pragmaticworks.com)

Manuel Quintana has worked with Pragmatic Works just under 4 years.

Prior to this he had an 8-year career in hospitality working for Hyatt Hotels (lots of interesting stories!).

He began his career in BI as a technical support agent for the software side of Pragmatic Works, then moved to being a sales engineer where he would demo the products for potential clients. Manuel is now part of the training team and gets to travel around teaching many different BI topics like SSIS, SSAS and Power BI to name a few.
