November 2015 WISSUG meeting

“The database is slow!”

“What’s wrong with the database?”

“Why is this query taking so long?”

Sound familiar?  If you’ve been a DBA for any length of time, you’re probably familiar with questions/accusations like this.  Identifying and correcting the problem is easier when you know where to look.  It’s even easier if you can reach into your DBA toolbox and grab a query or two to pin down the problem.  Come to the November meeting watch Jason Wong demonstrate how you can do this.
